Heck yes it's a BIAS!
Signature suspended
Simply Light Designs or Butt In A Sling, you won't go wrong with either.
"A bore is a man who deprives you of solitude without providing you with company." Gian Vincenzo Gravina (1664 - 1718)

My favorite 'simple' hammock and you don't even need to change-out the suspension.
Trust nobody!
ENO is made here in WNC... I have yet to head over to their place but I pass by it every couple of weeks.
I can't think of a bad thing to say about ENO aside from it's a bit small for me at 6'4"...but the quality is without question in my opinion.
Given the option (and opportunity), though...if you pay attention to Woot they have a hammock on there from time to time that I prefer to my ENO, and at less than half the cost.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
I agree with peanuts... I believe they are made in Indonesia. But I don't have mine with me to check.
(I still like mine)

Getting lost is not a waste of time.
I'll third Appalachian Hammock.
You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who can beat Buttinasling on the price of a basic hammock alone. I don't know how they do it; must be using child labor or something. Their Hiker Lite is on sale for $34.95.
Then there's the question of what kind of suspension you want, whether you need an integrated or independent bugnet, overcover, etc. Many of our US based cottage vendors offer a plethora of options, depending on what you are looking for.
Good luck!
