    My recommended latrine system.

If you can fill me in on the details before Thursday, I may be able to attempt one on my foray. Thanks.

Thanks SnideTripod. I'm very happy you enjoyed this trip report.
The Cheek Spreader is a simple and comfortable latrine setup I use. The only gear or equipment required to fashion one is three lengths of some sort of cord. I find simple shock cord or bungie cords work best, but any cordage will do.

Here's a video showing how to do it. It's the most comfortable latrine setup I've ever used.

Enjoy your trip to the Rockies.

    Hope this helps,
    - Martin
