    becoming a hanger!

    Hi all,

Just ordered a WBBB dbl 1.7 and mamajamba tarp with some dutchware. After hiking the Long Trail and around the ADKS and seeing all these places I could hang but not set up a tent, I figured what the heck? why not go ahead and pull the trigger. I waited so long because I'm a stomach sleeper and occasional side sleeper. Hopefully this works I've heard many a stories of stomach sleepers being able to sleep in hammocks, so here goes.......

Welcome to the forums. I am a stomach sleeper or a back sleeper in a bed. I'm normally on my back in the hammock, but occasionally will spend a little while on my side. If you really want to go stomach, then you might look into a bridge hammock. I made the switch to hammocks when I 1)realized how heavy my setup was to be comfortable in a tent 2) saw how few good spots there were on the AT when backpacking with my boy scout troop

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new purchase! I am normally a side sleeper, but in a hammock I sleep on my back with no issues at all.
