    Quilting your quilt

Can you use regular thread to quilt a quilt? Or do I have to use special quilting yard?

I used doubled-over thread on my prototype quilt, but it's started tearing holes in the shell material. I'd recommend getting some 100% poly quilting yarn - it's thicker and softer, so it should hold better without tearing.
