    NC/Avon Meet Up

Gargoyle and the little gargoyles and gargoylettes will be in Avon, NC for the last week in May. I'd be happy if any of you folks in the area would swing by and visit.

There's a few in the pics I can see. But they are 10' off of U.S. 12....so probably not a good spot to hang. Pretty much the theme along the OBX, the road is only a few feet away. But I may try it? Depends on nighttime traffic.

    Personally, I haven't been to Avon. It's a vacation.
On the good side, all the houses are on stilts. So they count as hanging spots..

Sorry, I just thought of all those bamboo stilt houses in the Java Sea area. OBX : Raised on piles or posts for hurricane tides. Been there, seen that, plus the hurricane damage. Wouldn't want to be there in a big blow.
But enjoy the swinging in the shade.

Lots of houses on pier pilings and lots of sand, lots of sand. Trees there tend to be small and few and far between

Trees are few and far between in Avon. Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

Unfortunately I'll be out of town. Otherwise I'd swing down for a cup of coffee.
