Ya I can attest that the Hardware store rings will work at that weight. I'm 140 or so and have never noticed any stress on my rings even if I jump in my hammock quickly putting a decent dynamic load on them.

at your weight... for $5 more you can get the skeeter beeter and have a bug net too.... but again you are going to want to lose the s-hooks. (It's on sale too)
