I have an 11' long hammock with a 9' long ridgeline. When I look for the most comfortable diagonal spot there's sill a small amount of curvature. Just enough to be annoying when I sleep. Should I increase or shorten? Not too great with geometry :/

The slight curve is a consequence of the material being gathered at the ends. For the flattest lay consider a bridge hammock. Comfort is a personal thing and you should try both lengthening it and shortening it. I personally find more sag (shortening the ridgeline) to be more comfortable.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
I use an adjustable ridge line on my 11' BIAS. I keep it somewhat loose when it hangs empty and it tightens up when I'm in the hammock. I adjust it depending on the hang height and distance. The BIAS was originally shipped to me without the ridge line and it was very comfortable without one.
I'd start without the ridge line and tighten up from there. No way you will eliminate some curvature along the foot end, but looser gives me more leg comfort with a diagonal lay and getting more on the diagonal reduces the leg ridge. I think one's height is a partial factor in the comfort there and everyone has a different comfort level.
Love is blind. Marriage is an eye opener.
Try laying at an angle.
