If you have a knife you can make a spoon or chopsticks. What is that, a BK2?

Pretty sure it is. I have one that has been used and abused but still treks on.

First official overnight in the hammock!

It is a bk2 love that knife. Xmas present a couple years ago from an ex squeeze. A bottle of old charter and plenty of heavy seas loose cannon had been consumed. Whittling chopstick was not feasible at the state of mind I was in so I did the most logical thing... Sticking a blade in my mouth to eat rice and potatoes
I can be purrrrrty dumb sometimes!
Still a great much needed time. Doing some bike camping at union point in a couple of weeks. Just ordered a Hennessy hex fly to replace that pig of a tarp. My buddy going with me is intrigued by the hammock setup so I'm giving the old tarp to him to test the waters with his eno. I sent him links of the DIY bug nets here and went over my idea using a $13 military bar net so hopefully he'll make one. Humid springs in GA, I won't even lounge in the hammock without a bug net.

    old limerick....

I eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life.
They do taste kind of funny,
But it keeps them on my knife.
