I was looking at whether I can hook the multiday battery directly up to my motorcycle 12 volt system or if I should install a battery isolator, when I ran across some interesting news. Transcend has an auto-set version that they are testing in the US, and they have a heated humidifier coming to market.

I don't know what the compensation is, but I'd ride up there to do it if I could get my hands on one of the auto-set versions!!

    CPAP Hammocking

If I'm not backpacking I take a battery jumping machine. (I'm sure that's not the correct name) it has jumper cables, USB port, a light, and a regular plug just like at your house. I bought mine at northern tool for around $80. You just plug in your machine and you're ready to go. It powers my machine for 2 solid nights. I did buy a "light weight" battery for backpacking. It lasts about 3 nights.
