I will be travelling in a Sprinter conversion van from San Francisco to Alaska and back. Have a 2" trailer hitch with a fairly heavy duty bike rack. Wondering how best to use the van and/or the hitch/rack when traveling as a mounting point. I have two Eno double nest hammocks and strap kits. If anyone has any advice, success stories, photos, etc, please send them my way. Look forward to sharing some interesting hammock hanging shots from the road.

Somewhere I saw a photo of a hammock strung up diagonally inside a van.
Also have contemplated using roof of van (strap all the way around the roof - through windows etc - as one anchor point.
Check out the hammock hang calculator and see if you think your hitch/rack can withstand the forces of a loaded hammock.
