    How to hang from a brick wall

    Hi there.

    Im wundering how Im able to put op my hammock indore.
    I live in a appartment, an was planing to put somthing in the wall.

    But what is the way to do it, so that im sure ill bee hangin there all night.?

    You could build a hammock stand. I'm not sure how the owner would feel about you drilling holes in the wall.

    the owner dont care.

    It is a one roomed apartment, i think the only way is holes in the wall.....

    In that case, I would use some masonry eye bolts like these.

    Hard brick? Soft brick? Solid brick? Brick with internal holes?...etc.

    These are some of the questions you need to answer before you can determine the requirements for masonry anchors.

    Yeah if you're looking a brick veneered wall for example you might end up with a floor full of "building blocks"!

    Need to identify what you've actually got before anchoring to it.

    i actuly think its concrete.
    it was the last wall i drilled in.....

    But if it is brick, its solid.

    Make certain the mounting goes into the mortar between bricks. If it is a solid concrete wall you may get away with drilling any where, but if you drill into a brick that is a weak spot.
