    New Summer series quilts

Anyone have any reports/reviews on the new summer series quilts. I'm really interested in the full length UQ and the XXL TQ combo.

I have the short summer UQ. Very nice. I have only had it for a few weeks and used it in temps in the 60's. I have a Jacks 20 degree UQ and found it just too much in those temps even when vented. I really like the SSUQ so far. Very light and of course very well made. It is rated to 45 but I will not get to those temps until the fall. For the warm weather I have used it in so far I think it's great.

I woke up in my hammock this morning on my back porch (8 nights in a row) and thought about how my SSTQ has become one of my most beloved pieces of gear. We cuddled for about an hour before I had to get up and start getting ready for work. So far, it has been down to 55 and kept me nice and cozy. I cant speak for the SSUQ, but the TQ is first class.

I do need to get a summer set. The last couple of campouts, the temps got down to mid 40's. I got chilled using my 20° UQ and TQ. I got overheated, and started to sweat, then came the chills. I did use the UQ and a poncho liner, and was warm most of the night, then the temps dipped a little more, and the poncho liner just wasn't enough. Thinking these will be the next big hammock purchase, when ever I get the funds together. I do have some scrape metal I should take to the scrape yard. Or try to sell the old truck I have......RR

I've got the short underquilt and I've been really enjoying it. It packs down so small and it's so light. It's been making a great quilt for the warmer weather. I had originally thought that I wanted the full length, but I've found that the shorter one works perfect for anything 60* or above.

I'll put together a video review in the next few days.

My SS UQ arrived yesterday after the usual 3 day wait from WL! It's very well made and easy to set up. It also packs down to the size of a grape fruit. I'm very pleased with it.
I can't wait to use it this weekend at the Western WA hang.
