Was going to buy a Tadpole but ended up getting the Big Daddy. Just wanted alittle more coverage. When I received it I set it up in the backyard, the wife came out to check it out. She said it was to big of a tarp, then she went silent for a minute and decided she wanted and ordered one. Go figure.

That's some intelligent slang! I still remember the first thing my Latin teacher taught me, Ubi o' ubi, est meus sub ubi? (Where o' where is my underwear?)

    Western Logic Tarps?

I saw a post that mentioned Western Logic Tarps but I get zero hits on this in Google. Anybody have info or URL for this company?

Love the Tadpole. For a lot of members of this forum it is their go-to 3 season tarp.

Not mentioned here, but I really like my Shangri La tarp from AHE. Rigged with lines and and snake skins, in the stuff sack, weighs 15 OZ. It does have a foot and head end, so have to remember which way to string it, but I love mine.

For winter or cold nasty weather I have the WL old man winter. I opted for the 12' ridgeline. With the side tie outs it is very spacious, made the pals jealous on my last winter hang. Whatever you buy I suggest getting a tarp with the side panel pulls, makes a huge difference in the space inside the tarp.

I can't afford multiple tarps, so I've decided on the WB Superfly. It's not that heavy (I'm still young and strong) and for the price I feel like I won't beat it in terms of size, coverage, ways to use it, etc. Plus it will be good for any weather, just overkill for lighter storms. The biggest thing for me was the price vs the utility. I want a tarp I can use any time until I have enough money to buy whatever I want and start branching out into smaller, lighter, etc. Just my .02
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

I went with HEx and added a single line tarp ridgeline...has been idiot proof so far (good thing). Have not been out enough yet to make a call on the tarp pull outs, but I'm tempted.
