    "indoor stealth hanging"

What about stealth hanging indoors with no additional hanging hardware?

I have used door hinges on metal door frames and furniture jammed under compression.

....in a hotel room with a large TV stand which was bolted to the wall and

...with rolling computer carts. That guy is 6'1" and 200 lbs.

Here's one in my son's room in the basement with a spiral staircase support column on one end and a door frame pull-up bar on the other.

    Anyways - just for fun.

Yes, we have several that have hung in their hotel rooms. Last one I was in, didn't have anything in the right place for me to hook my hammock.

I thought the meaning of stealth hanging was hanging in public but without being seen...I guess the office could be considered a stealth hang in a way, but a home or hotel room?

I think the stealth is no hardware or eye hook installations and what-not. I love this thread and will post my hotel room hang pics when i get a chance. Although they are basically what you all have already posted

Is backpacking called stealth too? I have never heard of this no-hardware meaning stealth hanging before.. Always thought stealth hanging meant the same as stealth Camping. Which is to camp on public/private property without permission unnoticed.

Looking good. . Does the cord get damaged in the hinge though?

Stealth is anywhere you Rolloff into after dusk, and Rollout from before daylight.

You cook, clean up, and almost everything else, somewhere else down the road or trail, possibly after you've "scouted" the area briefly, but not always. If you make a bad choice and find a fire ring or beer cans, any other evidence of use, move on. If not, set up, sleep, get up, and get out, before there's enough light to be ID'd. LNT
