It is official! We have reservations for the SECOND weekend in October (the first was already taken boo hoo) for another fun-filled (that's for the famous Brucie) hammock hanging gathering.
This will be our THIRD expedition to the lovely, scenic, and pine-filled Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest in Cobb, CA.
Food!
Fire!
Gear-chat!
Card games (one can hope)!
Loafing!
Hiking!

I'm booked for Lake Tahoe on that weekend but will keep it on my calendar.
If I survive my first summer as a hammock hanger, I'll plan to be there. Planning a family trip to Fresno Dome w/ family in late June, which will be my first experience camping w/ a hammock (though I have done a few overnight "practice hangs" in my backyard).

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I'll be there for Sat. night at minimum. Hopefully both.
We have our reservations at Ridge Campground, the same old place as our previous hangs here.
A map (right hand sidebar, "base map" PDF format) is available on the Cal Fire site for Boggs.
I'll ask $5 per car per night to cover the campsite fee (I'll pay the permit fee - you'll pay me back).
That's about all the logistics I can think of.
