    GA-Chattooga River Hang-June 7-9

Before the heat of Summer is upon us lets have a hang on the Chattooga River at the East Fork bridge. Several folks have mentioned what a great time they had at the Hang for a Cure and would like to go back. June 7-9 seams to be a good date for many folks so lets see who can make it. Come join us on the banks of the wild and scenic Chattooga River for a great weekend of fun, fishing and fellowship.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

Never been to this location before. Is it on the SC or Ga side of the river?

It's on the SC side at the Burrell's Ford bridge. The trail heads up river at the wooden sign up from the bridge and the camp site is 1.7 miles up river.

I will be there and if all goes well, my wife will be joining me. Not her first hang, but it will be her first hike. She has some new gear to try out so I hope all turns out well.
Man, just when I had my pack weight down, too. Oh well, I can carry it all I suppose. Lol. It will be good to see everyone again.

Just a note of disclaimer, somewhere I posted that I wanted to bake DO biscuits at the hang, and I still want to, but, I just ain't toting in a DO and charcoal that far. I am nowhere near as tough as Doodad.
