    Hey everyone, great forum here!

I'm a long time camper that had to stop for a while... but now I'm working hard to get back into it. Reading on another forum I saw a lot of talk about using hammocks and it kind of piqued my interest. I started reading a lot of information on here - talk about overload!
I decided I wanted to give it a try, so yesterday I picked up my first "real" hammock. I ended up shopping the REI sale and getting an ENO Doublenest and that Atlas suspension for it. I also picked up the "ridgeline" kit they have - Talon I think? - but I think I'll be returning that.

    Anyway... hi!

    Welcome PTAaron,

Lots of info here, you should like the Atlas Straps, makes it fast to set up and they have no stretch. Good luck on your first hang!
    God bless! Brent

What sets a canoeing expedition apart is that it purifies you more rapidly and inescapably than any other travel. Travel a thousand miles by train and you are a brute; pedal five hundred on a bicycle and you remain basically a bourgeois; paddle a hundred in a canoe and you are already a child of nature.

    Thanks for the welcomes!

bloomgorge: not sure if I'm quite ready for that just yet but I appreciate the chance! Maybe in the future.
