I only live about an hour away and would love to get out in the woods however my summer is extremely busy already. Hopefully someone else will jump on board and maybe we can plan a little trip

Follow the Midwest in Trips and planning. Look up and check in with Mule and that bunch. He's headed to Alaska shortly, but I'm sure he'd be glad to add you to the E-mail or call up list they've been putting together just for this.
Look for the Panther Creek, and Brown Hollow Threads, as well as the Hoosier Hang threads. You'll find Mule, and the gang there. The Spring Hang has past, but they'll soon be talking about the Fall hang, and you should make the effort to touch bases, and show on up. It just keeps getting better and better.
There should be plenty of chances to pick up a partner for a weekend or even a few days together during the week. They are a flexible bunch!
Welcome to Bloomington and HF!

It's not the boulders that throw us off balance, it's the pebbles beneath our feet
I've met up with Mule and Trout at Deam Wilderness and had a great time. Mule sets up trips pretty regularly.
I have got a week long BWCA trip with the family coming up so the number of days I can get away are few. I'd probably be able to work in a single night weekend trip in either late June or mid August. I'll keep watching this thread and if you get something set up I'll let you know if I can or can't make it. Hopefully can work something out. I enjoy meeting new people and it's hard to pass on time in the woods.
Also check out Indy Backpackers on meetup.com.
