Killarney Provincial Park - La Cloche Silhouette Trail [VID]

Hey everyone,

A friend of mine and I hiked a short (but challenging) section of the La Cloche Silhouette Trail in Killarney, ON this past weekend. Spent a night on Little Superior Lake and hiked back out in the morning. Sorry for the lack of monologue, I'm not much of a talker.

I've always wanted to hike up in that area and now even more so!!!

Were the reservations a problem to get? How crowded was the trail?

The reservations were a breeze but that might be due to the fact that I made them months ago... And the trail was busy but only up to The Crack. We didn't see another soul past that point. Might also be due to the time of year, as the nights are still cold and the black flies are horrendous in the heat of the day. Nothing a couple of applications of Muskol can't help.

On our way out we saw maybe a dozen other hikers, all of them just hiking up the crack and back out, based on the lack of gear they had.

I'm jealous. Mostly about having a wife that will make the trek with you. I'll be lucky if I can coerce mine into a night of car camping :/

Looks like you had awesome blue skies! (Mainly because all the rain in the province was on me in Algonquin:-( Anyway... There really is something cool about those blue lakes and white rocks.

Good job with the video. Your trip looked amazing. Like everyone else, this has always been one place I have wanted to go, but just never could find the time! Maybe next Ontario Hang??????
