The poles themselves weight 4.55 oz. I'm not sure what the tabs on the tarp add to the total weight, but it can't be much.

It doesn't look like they have the lighter version, though, just the .340 diameter
Thanks, that's not terrible! Looking at it, from quest I can get away with $47.21. decisions, decisions, especially since I just spent 35 last night on more Amsteel with shipping.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!
I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.
It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

Just got my order in from Quest, assembled and pitched -awesome, fast, and cavernous. Thanks for posting all of the specs. Too easy!
I have a continuous ridgeline above my SF, and the poles sit on top, not even touching the actual ridgeline.
I do not have experience with silnylon/superfly, having only owned it for a couple of weeks. Will I get any extra stretch at mid-wall tie/pull outs? If so, is that ever a problem?
Also, I used accessory cord loops instead of snap rings. I larks head them on, and plan to leave them attached when stored.

If anyone has pictures of their setup, in porch mode, I would love to see them.
Thanks

I had mine tied because couldn't find snap rings. Just made up a set of loops with grommet and S binners. Will give it a try at MAHHA.
Got everything ordered. Hope to have it together for the MAHHA. Thanks for all the info.

i like it i made up some poles the same as i saw on tendertoe's video but it like your idea better. just have to figure out how to cut my poles down to that length.
Just pitched the SF w/mod again this weekend. Awesome, fast, and no problem with a few gusts and rain. I'm liking the over the top ridge line, as arched poles never even touch seam. I also took poles off and used them to set up porch mode. Worked well, even with a little wind. I just used a marlon spike hitch right near triangle tarp ring with the pole tip as the spike. My poles, minus grommets and tabs weigh in at 4.4 oz.
