anyone using the arch style hammock stand?

when searching hammock stands this style always shows up, and i broke down and bought one, but have not set it up.
not sure if its high enough or even long enough end to end.
the dimensions are 110 inches from end to end and approx 104 inches between eye hooks.
the approx. height of the hanging point is 46 inches off the ground
and im just wondering if anyone has had any luck using this stand.

The ridgeline for a 10' hammock is usually 100 inches, so one might barely fit. 46 inches would probably be okay, too.

So, as long as you're using a 10' hammock and have short suspension options, it should be okay...

This calculator can also let you figure out some of the numbers:

thanks for the reply...i may just return it and make one of the ones ive seen on the forum...and even save money doing it that way...i bought it assuming it was bigger.
dimensions were not on box and in the store they had it hung on the wall, so it was hard to tell the size by looking...
but i found dimensions on the stores website when i got home and realized it may be a bit small

I like a lot of sag, so what works for me may not work for you...

But I hang a 10.5 ft hammock between two points that are 109 inches apart, and I use a 3-4in length of cord on the head end.

You could probably make it work depending on what size hammock you use, but it may be low.
