Oh, Rider... Duffy lets me come with him, and does whatever he can to make sure I'm comfortable and safe. Asking him to fan me as if I'm Queen Nefertiti seems to be taking his kindness just a bit too far, maybe...?
I looked through the thread you posted (thank you so much), and found more than one I'm sure would work fine. But my favorites are these:
Carabiner Hand-held Fan
Cool-On-The-Go Hands-free Fan
I have access to a ton of barely-used Energizer AA Lithium batteries...thinking that first one works best for my pocketbook!

Duffy's a great dude, and I'd never suggest him having to do more'n he does. Still, the vision of him sitting there with a FL snowshoe keeping you cool does have a certain...amusement...to it. Almost like it's straight out of a Shug video.
I hope that one fan or the other works out pretty well for you. Another trick is to take some water and wet down the hammock body; this will cause evaporative cooling through the evening, assuming that the humidity isn't 100% (which I've experienced through there before; it ain't fun).
Either way, I should have a nice, cold surprise for everyone come Saturday night/Sunday morning (depending on who's up when I get in)...
Great! Hope to see you there!

I'll provide the camera work if you provide the cast!
Honestly, been meaning to for my Turtledog stand, but I've just not found the spare time recently. Too much going on. Soon, I promise!
And I promise to bring the camera along on this trip, too, but you know how bad I am about actually filming when I have folks to talk to! Maybe if someone reminded me...

I guess my camera stuck to my hand in front of your face may be a good reminder.
*Batteries, must prepare correctly, lots of batteries.*
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
Anybody else planning to stretch this hang into Friday night (19 July)? I have some other obligations Sunday evening so I'll have to be out of the woods by around noon. I'd like to do two nights so I'll likely drive up after work on Friday and be to the campsite by around 7pm or so. I have no problem hanging solo but I'd definitely appreciate some company.
