How do you store your quilts?

I have a Phoenix and I was thinking about hanging it in my gear closet. What is the best way to store/hang it in a closet. I have been laying it in the bottom of the closet. But I would like to get it up off the floor.

    Thanks,
    Chris

Personally, I made large cotton storage sacks for any of my quilt/sleeping bags that didn't come with one. That keeps them dust free, loosely stored and easy to place/stack wherever needed.

If hanging from a bar, I've heard that large suit storage bags work well.

I keep mine on the floor under the bed, but put in a very large trash bag that way the quilts don't get dusty and aren't compressed.

I have a few of these hanging in the closet for my quilts.

    One for partial length underquilts
    One for full-length underquilts
    One for 3-season top quilts
    One for winter top quilts

They are great and make organizing my quilts very easy. The ones I have will hold 4 of the 3-season quilts, or 3 of the winter quilts each. Cheap too; about half the cost of a Rubbermaid container.
    Trust nobody!

Cannibal's idea is great! I found these..

A bit pricey but I like the breathability.

Home depot carries these bags. Not sure if they come in different sizes like the ones from the Container Store..
