    Integrated ENO DN Bugnet

Hello there. I'm planning to add an integrated bugnet to my ENO DN, because I find having a separate bugnet to set up is a pain. Who has done this before? I'm new to bugnet work and am seeking design and materials advice.

    Thanks in advance

I am interested in this as well!

Kind of off/on topic...Is the mesh window curtain material durable? Because I need to find something more durable than tulle. Now i will say that there are two different toughness in tulle. I came across some camo tulle and i have put that stuff through the ringer and it has held up and not ripped even when snagged by some holly bushes. But then again i went with some black mesh tulle and that stuff is as fragile as egg on a baseball tee! It has ripped with the smallest of manipulation.

I have priced some actual bug netting at Joann's and Hancock fabric and it's going to cost me $40 or more for a 12' hammock.

If you can testify if it's durable enough, i'll have to see if it's long enough..lol

    Thanks
    It's a hammock thing, you won't understand!

The wife no longer kicks me out of bed after she saw a hammock hanging in the dog house.

The curtain material is 100% polyester. it has proven its durability in the field with me. The mesh is small enough to keep out even baby no seeums.

Is there anything special required to sew the screen to things? Thread, needle size, stich size?

I would use a nylon thread of a pretty thick diameter. As for the seam i would use a simple rolled seam you can even do this by hand. Try to keep the stitches close together and relatively tight.

Here's a link to where a fellow member sewed a bug net to his Eno Double Nest : Eno Bugnet Mod

    I hope that helps

I made a bugnet for my DN using this guide

Ended up costing me around $12 in supplies. Maybe you do a combination of that design with the one WickedKlown recommended.
