    New from Kansas

Well after several years I decided to return to hanging. Last time I hung a hammock was in Ft Stewart Georgia about 17 years ago and it was a cheap jungle hammock.
So after reading about this site on ZS, I stopped by and read numerous reviews and so picked up an Equip travel hammock for my first swing back in the trees. Now I just have to figure out how to replace part or all of the rigging on it after my test hang tomorrow at the lake.

Welcome to the forums, from Ohio. Bet you are more than a bit surprised by the changes that have come about in the hammock world.

Most definitely. While the net hammock was light and comfy, these newer ones seem to be much more comfortable esp when you start seeing a bit more weight on your own frame.

To namnat my "comeback hang" will be out at Big Hill lake tonight. I am fairly certain you know where that is at. How is Larrytown treating ya, it is one of the few places in KS I would consider moving to without huge financial incentives.

Yes sir I do know where that is! Caught many white bass out of that lake. As for Larrytown....it's same ol stuff. The wify and I are looking to sell and move out to the country soon. We don't want anymore more crazy college kids puking, peeing, and littering our lawn. Haha oh well what do you expect?
