I am the Jinja Ninja of California. It is true – my ginger colored hair has led me to be part of the Jinja crowd. I have been hammocking for nearly 2 years now. Regretfully, my parents will not let me put eye bolts in the walls of my room to be a full time hammocker – so, I am limited in my hang time to finding two perfectly situated trees. I go up into our local Santa Cruz mountains and hang around – I have been experimenting with ways to lighten my gear. I have recently discovered Cuben fiber – and LOVE it. My underquilt has really helped with temperature control. I am looking forward to more hangs this summer and look forward to meeting other hammockers.
