2 pics from my last trip.

Ok so here is two pictures from my last trip a few weeks back. Temps hit 24* in FL, i knew it was going to be cold but that was a little colder then i was ready for. These pictures our from the second night when it only hit 40*. There were 3 of us hanging on the trip, i expected that i was going to be the only one on a scout trip.

Can you go into detail about your suspension? Looks interesting.

Ya, No problem. I have 2 hanging straps. http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___40409 they weigh 5oz and work great. The way the straps work is so simple, there is a loop at one end and the other has many smaller loops every 6 inches maybe and you wrap it around the tree a few times and then put the end with many loops through the large loop, and now i hook my carabiner to one of the smaller loops moving it up or down depending on the distance between trees.
I also bought 2 Carabiners to hang my hammock from. http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___34190

Nope, no converters yet. We are all getting ready for a 50 mile AT trip this summer and most of them havnt done much hiking at all. So, some of them are carring your normal car camper tent. Way to much weight if you ask me. I was suprised to see the other hangers on the trip. They had HH.

We will get a 50 miler patch, you get them for any 50 miles of walking or canoeing/kayaking trip. This will be my 4th patch.
