    Underquilt for ENO

I am looking to get a cold weather underquilt for my ENO Doublenest. I want to get a warbonnet eventually but I need an underquilt worse than I need a new hammock. I was wondering if any or you had some input as to what brand would work the best with an ENO or if it didn't really matter? I tried a DIY underquilt with the JC Penny jackets, but my sewing skills are not good enough to try to make a warmer one. Thanks in advance!

Check out the New River by Arrow Head Equipment. I just ordered one for my ENO DN and I love it. Fits perfectly. Easy to set up and dial in. Very reasonably priced as well. There may be better UQs but for the money, I am really happy with my New River.

The Hammock Gear Incubator fits my Eno Doublenest like a glove. I also bought a 3/4 length shell from underquilts.com and it fits great too. It's a nice option if you can sew a somewhat straight line and stuff your own down. Saves a little money, but you can't beat the quality of the HG stuff.

One of the great things is that almost any quilt made will work on an ENO. There are dozens of choices available from most of the vendors here.

Out of the 5 models of Under quilts that we make only one of them will not work on an ENO hammock.

Yep, I've used just about every quilt I own on an ENO, TrekLight, and TTTM hammock. Never had an issue.

I bet I know which quilt too. Sounds like a challenge for the backyard this week.

Give it a try....I am sure it will work somewhat but I would not think it ideal. But curious to see what you come up with to make it work.

I have a Doublenest and use a 20 degree Phoenix from hammockgear.com. LOVE IT!! Works great for me. I have slept out to 15 with one layer on, but I'm a warm sleeper.

I have an ENO DN and a Hammock Gear 20deg +2oz Incubator. Works very very well!

My ground sleeping friends wake up cold, sore, and sometimes wet. My hammock friends that have space blanket contraption are tired of the noise and cold spots. I always sleep better than in my bed at home...

Just ordered a 40deg Phoenix for warmer weather. HG makes some good stuff.

Thanks for all the feedback! I've got to scrape up the money but then I think that's my next hammocking investment

So after reading this I compared the Incubator 20 to the JRB Mt Washington 3. Anyone have experience with both? The Mt Wasington is just a few oz lighter, a bit more expensive, and uses 800 fill (vs 900 in the Incubator). It would be nice to get a comparison from someone who has tried both.
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.
