How my family spent Friday night.
But sadly... I had major shoulder squeeze and felt like my head was being pushed forward. Guessing my foot end was too high - and I have large shoulders - but happy to hear any quick thoughts if you have them.

Oh - one more thing - DEW!!! Despite having the tarps about 12 inches above the hammock ridgeline, we got soaked. Anyone know the fix?
Can I come live with you? We don't get yards here in Northern Virginia
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
What type of hammock where you using? Is it long enough for your height? Does it use a ridge line? If not then did you hang it near or at a 30* angle? Were you laying diagonal? Were you shifted to one end of the hammock or the other too much?
One of my good friends had issues first couple of times hanging and these questions seemed to discover where his problems lay.
Blackbird. At an angle. Eyeballed 30 degrees, but think I didn't account for the uneven ground - (mine is the furthest away, head nearest to the swing set). Considering binding my ridge line to reduce it by about an inch - just to see. I'm 5'10, 185 lbs - so not a monster. Funny thing about my yard... we have some acres to play on, but no really good usable trees. Hence my "scissor sticks" and other creative use of structures.
