Hi there. I am a kiwi and get outside back country fly fishing, hunting, diving on the coast and as a bushcraft instructor. I use a wbbb all the time - there are heaps of trees although you rightly point out there is a lot of alpine areas. Its all about what you want to do and where you want to go.
