    Re: Curious-Snugfit-how many owners ???

I got one. It was the first quilt I ever owned and started my Hammock obsession. You might say it changed my life in a very big way. I sold my first one to fund my diy obsession... Which became Hammock Gear. I just bought one that ZQ found on the for sale forum and gave me a heads up. Thanks Donna. Yes, the snugfit was ahead of its time.

Probably not. At the very least, it's selfish.
Let's keep it a secret between us two, MedicineMan.

OK Swampfox it's between you and me, but a word of advice. Do NOT let BajaHanger know you even have one--she just lives too close.

So why this thread? Supply and demand. To get an idea of how many exist thinking this might help those buying on the 'pre-tested' market justify the cost. In the case of the Warbonnet Eldorado, when they move the price is now well beyond the original cost-it won't be long for this to be the case with the Snugfit. In
our sport/hobbie there are certain pieces that have become legacy and these two are. I'd also think an original Speer Pad Extender would also demand such respect. Are there
any others? What do you think might follow this trend?

    Those are great underquilts.
HERE is a thread on the for sale forum from a couple of days ago.
    It sold in 54 seconds.

    That's minutes, not seconds.

We have one. Universal Snugfit. ( Perhaps 2009 ).

Bought it for my husband so he would consider cool autumn and spring camping.
He is happy and warm down into the occasional high 20s.

I use it at deep winter hangs, down to 3*, in combo with my DIY-IX-multi-layer-seasonal-variation-combo.
    Also, late winter backpacking.

When showing it off, refer to it as a sculpture : a piece of art, conforming to the body.

The only hammocks I have that I haven't used the SnugFit with are the Bridge hammocks we have; BMBH & RRs. I've used it on both my Speer IIIA and my 8.5. We have the universal model so it doesn't mate with the Velcro on the edge of the Speer hammocks, but it works perfectly.

And yes, the SnugFit is as precious to me as my ElDorado. There are a great many things I would allow a bad guy to steal without more than a police report. But those two items get taken and I'm calling the dang A-Team...after I teach them how to actually hit something they shoot at.
    Trust nobody!

    The A-team! Funny.
OK so I count 11 so far. I bet Sparrow will be very very close on his guesstimate.
G.Hawk- heck of a tongue twister you've got there 'DIY-IX-multi-layer-seasonal-variation-combo'
Thought of another legacy quilt. The original JRB Nest.
