Years ago I met Stormcrow hiking. At the time neither of us had any inkling there would be a Hammock Gear or a Dutchwaregear. Most notable thing is he would eat a slug for everyone else's amusement. Life is busy but we stay in touch and get together when we can.
Well with Keith out on medical leave and I am still working full time my orders piled up. I had way more orders than I could do and there was no light at the end of the tunnel. I considered shutting down until I could get caught up. I was backed up on orders and out of parts from Trail days plus we are having record sales.
Stormcrow calls and asks if I need any help. "Holly crap yes." I am sure he has an endless todo list but he packs up his BMW (yes you heard that right) and drove 8 hours, walked right in the door and started splicing and sewing. We worked for 36 hours with only a rare break. We went from 5 days behind to having parts made for future orders. The end, sometime around 2am last night there was elbows, amsteel, titanium, webbing, insults, tears, hugs flying everywhere. I am heading to a soon to be very flustered post office lady with a huge amount of suspensions.
Seriously what a guy, the world needs more people willing to come here and work like a dog for free. All hail Adam.
