This should be a great hang, once again! The site is hammock heaven with the trees and spacing. Just set-up away from the Bear Lockers. Once we manage to get Peggy and Russ inside, they make a racket all night trying to get out!
PS: There is good Fly Fishing nearby, on the Deerfield River.

Does anyone have a guess on what Amtrak stop would get me the closest to the hang. I'll hitch hike the rest of the way in. I have a few details to work out before I know for sure if I'll make it. Ya gotta have dreams!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
I'm assuming you are only looking at trains? If so, Pittsfield,ma , Amherst,ma and Brattleboro,vt are all about equidistant from charlemont and the hang site - each about 20-30 miles as the crow flies. I won't know my departure time for a while yet, so I don't think I can commit to picking you up yet, but I'm sure the lot of us can work out a carpool so nobody needs to hitch. Looking forward to another awesome hang - the last was a blast.
