My son and I went on a great backpacking trip last weekend. This was his second time in his hammock and my first. He has a HH explorer deluxe and I have a blackbird dl 1.7. We hiked the Waterloo-Pickney trail 15 miles and had a blast. If anyone wonders how comfortable hammocks are......well lets just say we didn't get up until 10am on Sunday.

That is the best kind of trip. Take the kids out and let them pick the route. It is always a good trip.
