DIY Topquilt - 10.5 oz.

In the ongoing effort to lower pack weight, I decided to try my hand at a quilt. About a year ago I stumbled on a pdf file of a summer quilt with sewn-thru baffles that looked easy enough. It helps that the author also does an excellent job of explaining how he went about his construction in the pdf with drawings, charts, and color pictures. It looked very straightforward and the results would be well worth the effort; a 50* quilt for under 11 ounces.

I just finished my summer quilt similar to yours. I wanted a 40 * quilt so mine has 7.2 oz of 900 fill down. Total weight is 12.5 oz. Love DIY.
