Okay that is out of the way....

if you can not get the IKEA stand you could make a modular version of this stand.

Lowes or HD will cut boards to length if you dont have tools. You would still need a drill but if you put it together with bolts and screws it could be disassembled but may still be to long for a car? I am enjoying this on my deck right now.

There is also a stand I made specificly to collapse and fit into a 5ft piece of PVC.

The TurtleLady stand requires spread limiters, however the TurtleDog stand does not. Has to do with how the tripods are built. Might check that out. Makes a portable solution that has been proven to be useful inside. Even some pics on adding rubber feet to the tripod legs to protect flooring.

I bought my wife a hammock stand at Lowes Hardware for about 120 dollars. I was able to pick it up at Lowes and transport it in my Corolla no problem. Full assembly is required though. I don't see why it wont work with my DN with Whoopies or the WBBB.
