    Mule tape weight

Does anyone have the weight of both 5/8 and 3/4 mule tape by the foot or by the yard?

Somewhere I have 5/8 weights posted, but I am on my phone and won't be back until late Saturday.

    Here ya go:

Its original use was to pull electrical cable through conduit; some here use it as tree straps.

    Hope it helps!

    Re: Mule tape weight

There are a number if threads on mule tape. Do a search... let me know if you cannot find it.

I have lots of the stuff, but I would.not use it as tree straps unless you're pretty light. The general consensus is that 1" straps protect the tree well...

Apologies for not getting the weights. Had some issues last night... will try again tonight.

Have a 30' hank here that chazham sent to me. It is 11/16" (?) DURA-LINE WP 25 rated at 2300# by their web site.

It weighs 6.3 ounces or .21 per foot.
