Converted my old yard swing that we never used into something more suitable for hanging my hammock. I went with a 12' treated 2x6 instead of the original 6' one that was on there. These pics were taken just while I was testing to see if it would work. I'll use some shorter suspension to get a better hang when I actually plan to use it.
Glad to see another one of these. This is what I use every night inside. Good idea with the timber toprail. I had modified the existing metal toprail but this is great.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
