Hike & Hang the California High Sierra Trail

    Hi Guys,
I'm planning a trip to this beautiful area for August 26, 2013 thru September 1, 2013. This includes the Mt. Whitney Summit. Should be a great time, if interested please email for further details.

    Best,
    Armando

Oh man I wish I could make that! Why oh why did I just start a new job?!
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

It's not peer pressure, it's just your turn.

That's a beautiful trail Armando. If your starting point is Crescent Meadow, just past Bear Paw Meadow at the start of the gorge (Vahalla I think) is a shadow formation in the afternoon called "Little Boy Peeing" (an accurate description) that you might find amusing. The trail to Hamilton Lake and over Kaweah Gap is breathtaking too. There are a few other trailheads that get you to the HST, but the one out of Crescent Meadow is my personal favorite.

A scouting buddy of mine is leading a hike this weekend that is in the area and everyone is stoked about the hike.

You probably know about the wag bags in the Whitney Zone so you'll have some fun with that (or adjust your food intake), but it's a great hike and you'll have memories for a lifetime.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.
