I'm a fairly new hanger that's just getting back into backpacking. I have been lurking around for a while and have gained tons of useful information from this site. So I figured I would join, and maybe use what little I know to help others. I got into hanging mainly because you have the same sleeping conditions no matter what the weather or location.
Right now I have a WBBB 1.9 DBL, ENO DN with whoopies, ENO Dry Fly, and a HG Phoenix 40 UQ.
Lots of hangers in & around greater Cinti.
We do get together from time to time so watch the "midwest" trip board.

I hung my hammock from the front of the shelter at site #1 when I stayed at East Fork. The birds do like to fly in and out of the shelter though. I guess they weren't use to having a hammock in their way because I got wacked a few times. Have fun!
