A friend of mine has the GT Skeeter Beeter Pro and he's happy with it. Then again, he's happy with every camping/hiking purchase he ever made and is convinced he can sniff out the best value/quality/price of anyone on earth.

When picking my first hammock, I had analysis paralysis - too many choices. I finally just went with a Hennessy Expedition and couldn't have been happier. Instead of weeks of analyzing my first purchase, I was instead enjoying hanging.

Poor Hennessy never gets out of the gear closet anymore - I found I liked 11 ft. hammocks and independent bugnets like BIAS sells.

The GT SBP will get you off the ground. Then you can go from there.
