All the tarps available from the vendors here are top notch. From personal experience I can recommend Warbonnet or Underground Quilts and have heard nothing but good things about Wilderness Logics. Hammock Gear offers a Cuben fibre tarp if you want to really save weight and don't mind the added cost. Silnylon is the way to go for light weight and affordable. It may boil down to shipping times. If you need it quickly go with whoever can get it to you first.

In terms of design, I like tarps with integrated doors so the ends can be closed off for inclement weather. I use a Warbonnet Superfly in winter and a Warbonnet Edge in Summer.

If you have an 11 foot hammock make sure to get a tarp with a long enough ridgeline to give you good coverage. A tarp with an 11' RL will cover an 11' hammock ok but a tarp with 12' RL offers more coverage so you can pitch it a little higher over your hammock.

I really like my Tadpole. Plenty of coverage and quick turnaround. As was said earlier, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the vendors here on HF. Good luck.

Cuben is light, and a pleasure to pitch and strike. I've worked with mine through several improvements and each time it is better.

I am using a WL Big Daddy, getting doors put on now. Just my preference.

I have an 11ft Thunderbird and I am thinking about the Old Man Winter.

I have had just about every trap that is made and I always grab the WL Tadpole.
It works great with 11' hammocks and comes in a camo.

I hang with a Wilderness Logics Tadpole over my WBBB, just the right size for the majority of the year I have had no issues with rain but I hang my tarp right on top of my Hammock RL (almost Hennessy style).

Great price (I think around 90$ shipped) and I had it in three days. He is a great guy to work with, you could likely call him and tell him what your needs are and he could offer advice...I hear is like a tarp / hammock gear whisperer.
