    Polyphasic hanger in Michigan

Hello all. I am a polyphasic sleeper on an Everyman 3 schedule. I've been sleeping this way for almost two months and intend to do it for the rest of my life. I sleep 3.5 hours starting at 11pm and take three thirty minute naps at 6:30am, 12:30pm and 6:30pm.

I recently started hanging and I love it. Polyphasic sleep has enhanced my sleep quality a lot and this has made it even better. I havent slept in a bed in a couple of days now, and I don't miss it. My setup is here: http://i.imgur.com/zZi8Cz0.jpg

Thanks! This hammock is actually my roomates and I'm currently in the market for a longer term, more durable, preferably woven hammock that I can use with my existing hooks indoors. I'd love to be pointed in the direction of some recommendations.

Welcome!!... You may find yourself oversleeping in the hammock though... Comes with the territory........
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..

    Welcome.
Do a search for "brazilian" hammocks. Either here or google

Big, long (may be an issue in your room?), SOFT!

Here's a recent thread, many others out there..

    Welcome from the Jersey Shore.

I never heard of polyphasic sleep till now, but I guess that's what I practice. I sleep when I'm tired - I eat when I'm hungry. Drives my wife up the wall because she is very regimented. She doesn't believe in naps, nor does her entire family. They think it's a sign of laziness.

What drives my wife totally insane is that all three of my kids inherited (or follow) my tendencies.

    Welcome Erin!

I'm new here too. My son who just graduated from college wants to try polyphasic sleep schedules. I'm glad I read your post so I know to suggest to him that a hammock might help.

Good luck with that. It sounds good in theory. Hope it works well for you.

    Welcome to HF
