    Quilt cover

Don't you hate reading a title thinking "cool whats this", then find out it's just someone looking for more advice.

I was outside two nights ago just loitering and ruminatin' in some thick fog. I got to wondering how my UQ(Yeti) would do in such fog. By the time I wandered inside even my jacket was a wee bit damp.
Well I started thinking maybe I would build a moisture sheild for my quilt. Nothing new there. But it occurs to me that if moisture is that heavy, then the UQ is only one small worry. The rest of the hammock would probably get soaked too. So I guess where I am going with this is:
Is it worth it to build a quilt cover for these kind of situations or is it futile and I should think about a full hamock sock? Would just a quilt cover help as long as the tarp is strung low or touching ground? I am reaslly just kicking some ideas around and thought I'd bounce 'em around in here a bit to see what comes up.
    Thoughts anyone?
I thought I was wrong once, turns out I was wrong about that.

From past posts on this subject I glean that it depends on if the fog is blown in or just kinda happens without wind. I have not personal experience on this but I hear that our friends in the Carolinas know a think or two about this.
