Indiana, Short time notice list weekend

would love too, but i work weekends, midnights at that! earliest would be either a monday or tuesday afternoon for a overnighter..so far anyway. Thanks for the invite mule..was thinking of doing the bloodroot trail next chance i get . its a easy 13 miles roundtrip and while i only did part of the trail last time i did get a chance to check out the approved campsite,,,quite nice spot on the resivoir...juist an fyi

We could certainly do some on weekdays, but this week I have a furnace replacement on Monday and have to restart the chemo on tuesday. Lets make it happen soon though.

I'm planning on meeting my Brother-in-law at the Deam this weekend. He can't get there until Sat. afternoon but I was thinking about going up Friday night and trekking in to camp somewhere close to parking lots, then tooling around Saturday morning.
When were you thinking about going?

I am open about where to go. I like hiking back to the car so we could meet your brother wherever we went. What about the campsite right before the Crescent Valley under the trees. Crescent Valley itself is high in weeds in the summer.

I was actually thinking of going down to the Crescent Valley this weekend myself. Thanks for the heads up on the weeds. I would be open to meeting at the campsite by the turn off. Probably head out tomorrow morning semi-early. Be at the trailhead by 10:00 - 10:30. Meet there or at the camp site. Keep me posted.

I like that idea! That is certainly an easy enough hike that I would feel comfortable trekking in the dark. Let me clear it 100% with my wife and I will post and pm details tonight.
