continuous loop vs. dogbone

what are the pros and cons of each?

if your loops on the dog bone are large enough, id say it out weighs the pros of a CL. A CL may be stronger but i dont know for sure. A CL will use more amsteel.

The big difference is length.

For a dogbone the shortest you can go is your (loop length x 2) + (bury length x 2)

For a CL the shortest you can go is bury length x 2

I believe that a CL makes sense if you want shorter than the minimum for a dogbone, any longer than that and I'd go with a dogbone since it uses less material.
