I wept a bit at the sight of the Pineapple UpsideDown Cake))))) A cake that will have it's day!
You can tell the boys had fun from the soil on those yellow shirts and them there grins. The Wheel is awesome...yes, I said awesome.
And I thought our old scout troop was good. Been usurped.

I could not agree more, and that was fairly early in the week.

I love it. It is wonderful to see young boys in the woods having fun and learning at the same time. Good eats too, now that's awesome... Keep up the great work with the scouts.

Speaking of Scouting and Wagon Wheels...

Those of you that are familiar with Scouting's Paradise.. Philmont, will know of the Tabasco Donkeys.
On our last night at Philmont at the closing campfire, they played Wagon Wheel... For some reason that song has become a signature memory of my latest Philmont experience.
    IWGBTP!!!
Enjoy, yet another version.. but the one I associate with Scouting!

That's a nice version of Wagon Wheel. I like the soulful pace it rolls at.

Darius Rucker is coming to our fair soon and I'd love to have a group of scouts attend and hold up some signs with our version of that tune.
