Darius Rucker has a hit song "Wagon Wheel" that we changed to accommodate the HAMMOCK WHEEL we built at summer camp.
Three poles planted about 3 feet in the center supported a military parachute and 8 hammocks strung to the center posts and tied out to either trees or beefy stakes. This was the best pioneering project we have ever made!
After discussing it often over the past 6 months, a Venture Crew scout took the bull by the horns, got some help and built this thing. It was the talk of the camp! Oh yeah, the food was pretty good too.
