New flag/ geocaching

What great customer service and price for quality flag and it came on national hammock day I also wanted to ask all you HF members if you're into geocaching. I got a couple travel bugs and the one in the pictures goal is to go to the SHT and hang with hammocks.

We geo cache but not real serious about it. Have a 60% find rate.....maybe.

But it gets you to see things you would normally dive by.

Nice looking flag I really like that green color! About geocaching, I have heard about it before back in high school, never participated but it seems awfully cool.

My wife and daughters are really into geocaching. We seem to always find a way to scope a local cache or two with every road, errand, backpack or vacation trip. If it keeps us interested and active, I'm game. We stash a cache now and again. We only look for easy to mid level rated caches so our fine rate is pretty high.

I have the iPhone app so it makes it real easy to do almost to easy as I find myself looking for caches several times throughout the day but never the less it gets you out and about.

Where did you get the flag? We are doinga hammock demo next year at a camporee for the scouts (~9000) and this would make a great addition to what we are demoing for them.

I personally love GeoCaching.
The funnest thing about it, is that you can think of non-cachers as "muggles",
and you must try and be inconspicuous and not let the muggles know what
you are doing. My second favorite thing, is that caches are sometimes at
a person's favorite spot. This gets you to see some spectacular things.
I love just standing and looking where the cache is, and taking scenery in.
Geocaching is fun, and great for all ages. Just remember to take some
small little things to swap out inside the cache, or to just leave for others.
This makes it a fun little treasure hunt. There are many side games that you
can play with geocacheing, and there is a lot of information online about it.
