Lol. I wouldn't trust anything that just looks strong. Ask them how strong they are. On the other hand, I've never heard anyone here complain about a broken strap. Even some of the hand stitched ones that make you go, YIKES!
Then again, in most cases were talking about a 200-260 pound hanger.
I had the Atlas straps that I used on my Eno DN, but I switched to the Marlin Spike system and installed whoopies on the hammock. IMO a lot better. My WBBB has the stock buckles, great also.
Bought the WBBB before I knew what I really wanted and what my choices were, just had used my HH deluxe with straps and lines. Found the forum, saw WBO's stuff and just had to get one.....fell outta love with bottom entry HH, and here I am....going to DIY a WBBB as an extra and sell my HH.
I like Atlas straps. I have not tried whoopies, but have no desire to either. Atlas straps my weigh more but they are really easy to use and require no knots, no small parts to use, and are very adjustable. Atlas straps will be the last thing I change on my ultra light journey.... That is how much I like them. Lots of people like whoopies, but Atlas straps are a whole lot less cunfusing to me. Watch YouTube videos on both versions and decide what looks easier to you.
